Nature Connections Songwriting Workshop

Join us for a nature based songwriting session this International Songwriting Day! Young people aged 11–14 are invited to take part in a special two-hour workshop with acclaimed singer-songwriter Ashley Faith , where we’ll start to co-create an original song celebrating UK wildlife our connection to the nature around us.

What to expect:

Hands-on songwriting and lyric-writing activities
Inspiration from wildlife, conservation and the natural world
A chance to share ideas and shape a brand-new song for Chester Zoo
A fun, supportive space to explore creativity and learn new skills

We want the song to inspire and empower others to protect UK wildlife and feel more connected to nature to enhance wellbeing and positive conservation actions.

Together, participants will input ideas for the lyrics and musical elements of a new song. Ashley will then turn these amazing ideas into a finished song after the workshop has finished and participants will be invited to listen to the final song at a later date.

Whether you're a budding musician or simply curious about songwriting and nature, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to learn, create and make your voice heard in a really meaningful and musical way.
