Komodo Dragon Experience (ages 12+)

This incredible experience will bring you closer to the world’s LARGEST living lizard than ever before! Enter a tropical habitat, and come face to face with this huge venomous lizard! You’ll be left with incredible memories that will last a lifetime!

This unique experience will take you behind the scenes of our Dragons in Danger habitat, helping our keepers to create scent trails and other forms of enrichment like hiding or scattering food!

You’ll also have the opportunity to ask our animal experts any questions you may have about this impressive carnivore, and the incredible work our teams are doing to protect this species from extinction.

Your experience:

Will last about 60 minutes. Approximately 30 minutes spent with the animals.
Lay scent trails and other forms of enrichment like hiding or scattering food. Then watch the komodo dragon and discuss its behaviour. Our keepers may also need help with weighing or target training.
Take the opportunity to learn about these incredible animals and ask our keepers any questions you have.
